 Dr.Bharath Srinivasan holds a Masters degree in synthetic organic chemistry from The Ohio State University, USA and a Ph.D. in molecular biology from Purdue University USA.
 He has acquired considerable breadth of experience on the emerging Indian biotechnology / healthcare landscape, straddling such diverse areas as outsourced projects in bioinformatics, the design and marketing of novel nanotechnology-based healthcare consumer products, fundamental research in molecular neurogenetics and the export of APIs and formulations.
 His involvements have included leadership and (senior-level) consultancy roles alike, while encompassing innovative start-ups such as Prakruthik Health Care Private Limited and Molecular Biosciences on the one hand and the Department of Biotechnology at IIT-Madras on the other.
